Cristiano Ronaldo retains top spot & Gareth Bale soars ahead of Madrid derby

Cristiano Ronaldo has retained top spot in the La Liga Power Rankings with team-mate Gareth Bale soaring into the top 10.
Real boss Zinedine Zidane rested Ronaldo and a host of stars for the 3-0 win at Las Palmas, ahead of their midweek Champions League clash with Juventus and derby against Atletico this weekend.
However, Ronaldo retained his place atop the chart after scoring four goals against Girona a fortnight ago, while team-mate Gareth Bale (No 6, up nine places) soared into the the top 10 after opening the scoring in Gran Canaria and netting a second from the penalty spot.
Lionel Messi (No 2, no move) was rested during Barcelona's 2-2 draw at Sevilla but was summoned from the bench on the hour mark to help overturn a two-goal deficit - netting an 89th-minute equaliser, assisted by Philippe Coutinho (No 8, up one place).
Valencia's Rodrigo (No 3, no move) scored the match-winner at Leganes to join team-mate Geoffrey Kondogbia (No 7, down one place) among the top performers.
Real Betis stopper Antonio Adan (No 4, up 33 places) saved a penalty and made four saves to help his side claim a 1-0 win at Getafe, with team-mate Marc Bartra (No 10, up one place) also entering the top 10.
Girona midfielder Alex Granell (No 5, up 26 places) soared into the top 10 with a wonder goal during a 1-1 draw with Levante, while Cristhian Stuani (No 9, down five places) retained his place among the in-form elite.
