Stand-off Harry Leonard struck five penalties and a conversion to help Edinburgh to a 22-11 victory over Treviso in their Pro12 League clash on Saturday.
Leonard, who finished with a 17 point haul at the Stadio Comunale di Monigo, booted over three penalties during a hard-fought first half to give the visitors a 9-8 lead at the break.
His first came on 10 minutes, but four minutes later Kristopher Burton landed a drop goal for Treviso to level the scores.
Leonard added a second to nudge his side back in front but Treviso hit back through Ludwig Nitoglia who grabbed an 8-6 lead for the hosts with an unconverted try.
Edinburgh lost Nick de Luca to the sin bin when the centre was shown the yellow card but Leonard edged Edinburgh back in front on the stroke of half-time with his third penalty.
The fly-half stretched the visitors' lead to four points with a fourth penalty in the opening minute of the second half.
Burton landed a penalty for Treviso to put his side back within a point but Leonard struck back with his fifth in the 64th minutes to make it 15-11.
And nine minutes from time flanker Ross Rennie forced his way over for a try and Leonard fired a fine touchline conversion to seal the win.
